A recent review of Australian methamphetamine-related clinical guidelines was conducted in 2019 by The National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA) and commissioned by The National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED). The review found that most guidelines have valuable clinical utility serving the needs of a wide range of treatment settings and population groups, however there are certain gaps and limitations that future guidelines could overcome.
