    Upcoming webinar: Internet-Delivered CBT for Methamphetamine Use (IMPACT) - From Treatment Manual to Digital Intervention

    This Cracks in the Ice and National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs webinar will explore the development of IMPACT, an internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) intervention for methamphetamine use. We will take a behind-the-scenes look at how manualised CBT was translated into a digital delivery format, including the challenges, decisions and considerations involved in adapting an established psychological treatment for online, self-guided use.

    This 1 hour free webinar will  be held at 12 pm Sydney time on Tuesday 29th September 2026 and explore:

    • The development of IMPACT, an internet-delivered CBT intervention for methamphetamine use
    • The process of translating manualised CBT into a digital intervention, including the challenges, decisions and adaptations involved

    This webinar will be presented by Dora Karavasilis. 

    Dora is a PhD candidate at National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs (NCCRED), her research sits at the intersection of digital health innovation, clinical practice and implementation science. Dora leads the knowledge translation and development for NCCREDs IMPACT study, a digital CBT intervention for methamphetamine, one of the first studies of its kind translating evidence-based digital therapeutics into frontline AOD care.
